Coaching

Coaching (sidebar → Coaching) connects you with a real human tutor — for when AI feedback isn't enough and you want a person who knows your world.

The coaching hub

Two kinds of coaching

  • English for Your Field — coaching from an expert who actually does your job (e.g. a doctor, nurse, engineer, scientist, or lawyer), so the English is grounded in your real context.
  • Admissions Mentorship — mentorship from someone who's been through the admissions process you're aiming at — the insider knowledge, not just the language.

How it works

  1. From the coaching hub, open English for Your Field or Admissions Mentorship to read what's involved.
  2. Request coaching by filling in a short form about your field/goal, level, and availability.
  3. Your request is received and matched to a suitable coach. While you wait, the hub shows your request as pending.
  4. When you're matched, the coach appears on your coaching hub and you can book a session and message them.
  5. Join your session at the scheduled time, and message back and forth before/after to coordinate.

Good to know

  • Coaching is about an ongoing relationship, not a one-off. For a single piece of feedback on one exam, the expert review on a Writing/Speaking submission may be all you need.
  • Your matches and their status always live on the coaching hub, and updates also show up in Messages / notifications.
Be specific in your request

The more concretely you describe your goal ("present cases to colleagues in English", "get into a UK master's in public health"), the better the match and the more useful the sessions.
