The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home base after signing in. It gives you a quick read on where you stand and one-click access to the things you do most. (In the app's terminal-style design it's titled the "Command Center.")
Your dashboard at a glance.
What's on it
Header — your avatar, your measured level (a CEFR level derived from your exam scores), a countdown to your test date, and an online status. The countdown changes colour as your test date approaches.
Activity heatmap — a calendar-style grid (roughly the last 90 days) showing the days you practised. It's the simplest way to see — and protect — your consistency.
Your stats — a row of cards summarising:
- Modules completed — lessons/activities you've finished.
- Simulations run — mock exams you've taken.
- Average performance — your measured band so far.
- Deadline — days to your test, with your target band.
Expert review alert — if a human teacher has reviewed one of your submissions, a highlighted notice appears here linking straight to it.
Quick actions — large buttons to jump into what matters:
- Start a mock exam → Mock Exams
- Open courseware / lessons → Lessons
- Quick Response drill → Quick Response
Study Wrapped — a seasonal, shareable recap of your progress. See Wrapped & sharing.
Good to know
- Your "measured level" comes from real exams, not from onboarding. Until you complete your first marked exam it may show as
—. Take a mock exam to populate it. - The deadline countdown is driven by your test date (set in onboarding or Settings). No date set = no countdown.
- The dashboard is a launchpad, not a place you spend time. Use it to pick the next thing, then head into an exam, the Dojo, or a study tool.
The heatmap rewards little-and-often. A short daily session — one Dojo game or a vocabulary review — keeps the streak alive and, over weeks, moves your band more than occasional marathons.
