Speed Reading
Discipline: RECON · Trains: Reading
Push your reading pace through levelled missions, then prove you caught the meaning — speed under control.
Speed Reading builds the one thing IELTS Reading punishes hardest: a slow reading pace. You read a passage at a pushed tempo, then answer comprehension questions to prove you actually absorbed it — so it's speed with understanding, not just skimming.

How a session goes
- Open Speed Reading and pick a level (they get harder — longer text, higher target pace).
- Read the passage as it's presented; the format pushes you to keep moving rather than re-reading.
- Answer the comprehension questions that follow.
- See your result — your reading speed and how much you understood — and whether you cleared the level.
What's scored
Your reading pace and your comprehension accuracy, together. A fast read with poor recall doesn't clear; the goal is to lift speed without losing the meaning.
Tips
- Don't sub-vocalise every word. Let your eyes move in chunks; the game trains exactly this.
- Clear a level a few times before moving up — make the pace comfortable, then raise it.
- Pair this with Speed Scan: Speed Reading builds raw pace, Speed Scan builds targeted searching.
